There is a trend, however, for limited representation and even consulting and coaching services are available to clients. Full Representation
Attorney Edmunds is licensed to practice law in the State of California and Federal Courts of the United States. The most traditional relationship between an attorney and a client has been full representation, where the attorney represents the client on all matters involved in a particular case or litigation. Full representation is available to clients in the area of Military Law, Security Clearance Matters, EEO Matters and Family Law Matters. The prices for full representation can be billed either on a flat fee or hourly. The fees vary on these matters and any questions that you might have should be directed to Mr. Edmunds or his staff.
Consulting
Mr. Edmunds is available to individuals on a consulting basis. The advantages of this type of relationship include reduced costs and attorney involvement only when requested. Mr. Edmunds has acted as a consultant in both legal matters and business matters. Some businesses have placed him on an annual retainer basis, so that he is available for questions over fixed periods of time.
Individuals have also utilized this concept to consult with Mr. Edmunds on Family Law matters and Government matters. The fees are less and the relationship is tailored to the client's specific needs. Often, Mr. Edmunds is called upon to provide a second opinion or suggest certain strategies in areas that are of interest to clients. Document Review
Mr. Edmunds and his staff are frequently called upon to review documents. These documents may range from Family Law documents, such as a Marriage Settlement Agreement or a Property Settlement Agreement to evidence against individuals in Military Law cases or Security Clearance matters. On numerous occasions over the last 26 years Mr. Edmunds has been called upon by a variety of individuals and businesses to review documents. These services are usually billed on an hourly basis. The review of documents is done in a confidential manner and the results are communicated both in person and with a written report to the client.
Mediator
Mr. Edmunds has effectively mediated numerous disputes involving business matters as well as Family Law matters. The Mediation Center at our offices in San Diego is utilized for the purpose of dispute resolution. The mediation process is more fully described on this web page.

Mr. Edmunds is uniquely suited for the mediation process because of his vast experience and his educational background including a Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Jurist Doctor Degree in Law. Coaching
Throughout the years, Alan Edmunds has had the privilege of assisting individuals achieve goals and enriching their lives in a coaching relationship.
